This is our blood making tutorial video which we have made to show how we would make blood for the use of a film and which types of blood we would use in certain situations. For example if we were using blood for a zombie then we would have to make it edible so that the actors/actress would be able to have it in their mouth. For this we could use the peanut butter blood or the chocolate blood mix as they are full of edible ingredients so wouldn't be harmful to have in their mouth. It is also important to make sure we're using edible blood when doing these scenes as if the blood you are making and using is not edible such as the budget blood, then the actor could become ill or they could be in pain as a result of it. This will help us when we are making our opening title sequence as we can pick the blood that will be most realistic to the scene.
In groups we made six different types of blood varying between edible and inedible blood as well as having some smooth blood recipes and some lumpy ones depending on what effect you want it to have in the scene. These six types of blood were:
